Fit for the future together
Old Course Hotel, St Andrews | 6-7 November 2025
Our annual conference brings together passionate HR and OD professionals from across Scotland’s local authorities, and colleagues from the wider public sector, to shape the future of work – together.
As our thinking about the future model for Local Government in Scotland continues to evolve, our roles have never been more important in driving transformation, leading with compassion, and supporting the engagement and wellbeing of our workforce.
This year’s theme, Fit for the Future Together, reflects our shared commitment to navigate this transformation journey together by collaborating to build resilient, digitally enabled and forward-thinking organisations that support our people and enable our communities to thrive.
Across two inspiring days we’ll explore key themes including designing our organisations for the future; the role of HR and OD professionals in transformation; compassionate leadership; employee engagement; AI and technology; delivering complex change and creating high performing teams. We’ll also dig into practical topics like employment law, holding challenging conversations, confidence and mindset, and the importance of sleep in workplace and wellbeing strategies.
Expect fresh insights, practical tools, and plenty of opportunities to collaborate and connect with like-minded colleagues from across Scotland.
