His responsibilities include overseeing North East Jobs, the online DBS service, recruitment websites and digital solutions that support public sector HR and recruitment.

Stephen has worked with North East Jobs since 2009 and has played a key role in developing NEREO’s digital services over the past 15 years, progressing through a series of leadership positions before becoming Director in 2026. He works closely with member organisations on recruitment, digital transformation, data and AI, website development, project management and training.
