She joined West Lothian Council in 2017 where she has partnered with services to deliver complex organisational change, address critical workforce issues, and implement a new people strategy. She currently leads a customer focused HR function, which provides HR administration and payroll services, and advises on strategic HR matters including policy, employee engagement, workforce planning, and organisational change.

Claire is also a member of the SPDS Executive Committee, leading the SPDS Employment Law Portfolio Group, and previously chaired the Health and Social Care portfolio group.

Claire is passionate about driving organisational performance through employee engagement.
